Designation Engineering Manager 2 - QA Experience: 8+ years Skills Required: ● Automation frameworks ● NFR testing ● People Management ● Product and Business Vision Job Description: As an EM -QA in LetsTransport, you will be responsible for one complete product function, working directly with your product counterpart. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about technology and wants to empower the engineering org by building the right set of automation standards and architecture. As a technology leader, you will help us build quality-focused products for our clients. You will be leading a team of automation and manual engineers and be responsible for their growth, deliveries, and retention. Responsibilities ● Manage the performance and career development of a small team of SDETs and QEs, and own the complete automation and quality charter ● Participate with senior management in developing a long-term technology roadmap. ●Strong knowledge of QA methodology, Testing tools, and Test Automation. ●Experience defining automation strategy and influence planning to achieve automation growth ●Experience troubleshooting complex systems and root causing customer-facing software issues ●Experience in NFR and performance testing ●Experience with a number of different programming languages and test automation technologies ●Problem-solving skills and the abilities to analyze quantitatively, scope technical requirements, and effectively prioritize program deliverables. ● Be a strong proponent of setting up the right processes that make engineering deliverables more efficient and resilient. ● Lead and participate with your peers in raising the hiring bar for the overall engineering team ●Understand the product and project management space with Agile methodologies. ●Experience across the product development SDLC ●Exposure working in any Cloud Platform, i.e. Azure, AWS, or GCP. ●Excellent communication skills, ●Strong decision-making skills, metric-driven operations, and the ability to motivate and maximize productivity in a fast-paced environment Basic Qualifications: ● B tech, BE in computer science or equivalent experience ● 6-8+ years of experience in building automation frameworks for API, integration, and frontend ● 1+ years of engineering management.
