Per-Diem CT Tech at Santa Monica Wilshire Imaging LLC – Santa Monica, California

State of the Art Santa Monica Imaging Center is looking for a Per-Diem CT Technologist. This opportunity is located at our multi-modality outpatient practice in Santa Monica, CA. Our center provides a variety of diagnostic imaging services to patients in a friendly and comfortable environment.

DUTIES:

• Perform high quality CT’s and some general x-ray exams.
• Monitor patient’s well-being during exam; recognize patient discomfort or medical problems and take appropriate action.
• Guide patients through this sometimes difficult process by kindly taking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Perform QC tracking. Participate in projects and/or meetings, and complete other tasks as assigned by management.

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Evening shift
• Night shift
• Rotating shift

Work Location: In person

We’re looking for experienced and professional candidates who are able to independently perform all outpatient radiologic exams and procedures with high quality results. Radiologic Technologist job candidates must possess:

• AART(R)(CT) certification
• CA State Licenses in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology, CPR Certification and venipuncture.
• 2 years' minimum experience required with thorough knowledge of CT and Radiologic Practices and Procedures
• Candidate must show flexibility to help with morning and/or evening coverage.
