Job Summary
The Markey Cancer Center (MCC) is seeking an Education and Quality Coordinator to collaborate with Quality Assurance Office staff and the MCC-Clinical Research Organization (CRO) to coordinate and provide education and training for clinical research coordinators, clinical research nurses, regulatory staff, physician-investigators, and other research faculty and staff within Markey Cancer Center.

The selected candidate will collaborate in the development, implementation, and maintenance of a comprehensive training and orientation program for new clinical research staff and physician-investigators. This includes, but is not limited to: coordinating the development and implementation of MCC clinical research specific education and training requirements; maintaining education and training records; conducting needs assessments as appropriate to develop and implement educational plans.

This position is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement with supervisor approval.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Microsoft office suite, power point, research databases, HIPAA, HSP, EPIC, proficient written and oral communication, exceptional customer service, planning and organization, attention to detail, ability to prioritize, initiative, time management, teamwork and facilitator, creativity and integrity, and inductive & deductive reasoning.
