Marketing & Inside Sales Specialist at THOMPSON & JOHNSON EQUIPMENT CO INC – East Syracuse, New York

Thompson & Johnson Equipment is a leading forklift equipment dealer, providing high-quality material handling solutions to businesses. We specialize in new and used forklift sales, rentals, service and parts.

Seeking a motivated Marketing & Inside Sales Specialist to help grow our brand and drive customer engagement.

Job Summary:

The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for promoting and managing all marketing and sales support activities for company product lines and services on internet, print and other non-direct marketing channels with a goal of generating growth; create and deliver marketing ideas and activities; develop media campaigns and other programs to work toward sales goals.

Additionally, this position will have engagement with Inside Sales responsibilities, including but not limited to taking incoming calls, working directly with existing and potential customers, processing sales leads, assisting and closing order opportunities and handling walk-in customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute marketing campaigns
• Manage social media accounts and create engaging content
• Design and distribute promotional materials
• Optimize and update the company website
• Track marketing performance using analytics tools
• Coordinate trade show appearances, sponsorships and industry events
• Collaborate with the sales team to generate leads and create marketing strategies
• Manage Google Ads and other paid marketing campaigns

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

• Associates or Bachelors degree preferred in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field
• 2 years of marketing experience (in the material handling or industrial equipment industry is a plus)
• 1-2 years experience in these applications (MS Dynamics CRM, Salesforce, Goldmine, Act, SAP, Sich)
• Proficiency in digital marketing, including social media, SEO, and email marketing
• Experience with design software (Canva, Adobe Suite) and website management
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multitasks and manage projects in a fast-paced environment

M-F 8-4:30pm

Salary $56-$65 year
