Join Our Team as a Navigator Camp Lead!
Are you an enthusiastic, creative, and motivated leader with a passion for working with kids? Do you love adventure, exploration, and hands-on activities? If so, we want you to lead our team of Navigators at Camp Ka-Mee-Lin!
As a full-time Navigator Camp Lead for an 11-week summer camp season, you’ll guide a group of energetic 5th and 6th grade campers through a variety of exciting activities and field trips. You’ll play a key role in creating an unforgettable summer filled with exploration, personal growth, and fun experiences.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead and inspire a group of campers through fun and engaging camp activities, fostering teamwork, creativity, and excitement.
- Organize and lead thrilling field trips to local parks, beaches, and other adventure-filled destinations.
- Serve as a role model, helping campers build confidence, form new friendships, and take on new challenges.
- Plan and facilitate safe, creative, and educational activities, both on-site at camp and off-site during field trips.
- Always ensure the safety and well-being of campers, whether on-site or during field trips.
What We’re Looking For:
- A responsible, reliable leader with a passion for creating an amazing camp experience for kids.
- A valid driver’s license and several years of driving experience, with the ability to safely transport a group of kids to and from activities and field trips.
- Creativity and resourcefulness to develop fun, engaging, and educational activities.
- Experience working with kids—teachers or individuals with a background in education will excel in this role, as your ability to connect and motivate young minds is key.
