About the role

The Senior Program Manager at magniX owns the management and delivery of major magniX technical programs, estimate and track resources, budget and schedule as well as manage projects from initiation through delivery though the coordination of integrated product teams.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Have full responsibility and accountability for the project deliverables and outcomes.
  • Organize and lead project activities and IPT meetings; ensure communication facilitates completion of the project on schedule and within budget constraints
  • Define project roles and responsibilities and lead the project planning activities
  • Direct the creation, approval, management of the project plan
  • Perform detailed project tracking and produce insights into program performance and variance to plan though earn value metrics from programmatic data sets derived from cost, time, schedule and budget.
  • Identification of program variance to plan, formulate actions plans to keep top level milestones on track though identification and management of the critical part.
  • Identify and manage programmatic risk and use recognize when problems occur, bring the right people together to solve them with the proper sense of urgency
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Manage project priorities and perform risk management activities.
  • Drive ownership of decisions
  • Interface with cross functional teams across the company.
  • Collaborate and build relationships across the organization
  • Develop a detailed project plan, budget, and task management to achieve task order objectives
  • Provide status on progress toward objectives to senior leadership, management and team members


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant work experience
  • 10-15 years of experience in technical Program Management, leading multimillion dollar projects, with a t least 5 in a senior role
  • Strong knowledge of program management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc)
  • Track record driving on time deliverables in complex multiyear projects
  • Highly proficient with MS Project and Project Online Server
  • Excellent understanding of the business case and cost-benefit analysis
  • Strong knowledge of engineering product life cycle management in a systems engineering framework
  • Familiar with RACI matrix and understand how to perform stakeholder analysis and management
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills with experience presenting to the executive team and a demonstrated ability to establish excellent internal and external customer relationships
  • Excellent leadership, communication and negation skills.
  • Excellent program/project management skills and experience managing subcontractors
  • High level of business and financial acumen, with proven ability to manage scope, schedule, risks, and budget

Preferred Qualifications

  • Preferred technical or engineering background
  • Aerospace or technical programmatic background preferred
  • Experience management government contracts
  • PMP Certification
  • Experience working in a complex Aerospace/ Electronics work environment

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: 160-180K annually, DOE
