Job Description

Role: Instructional Designer - Compliance Training


Objective:

Design and implement engaging, learner-centered training programs to educate agents on regulatory compliance, company policies, and industry standards, ensuring they meet organizational and legal requirements.


Key Responsibilities:

Curriculum Development:

· Develop instructional materials, including eLearning modules, workshops, job aids, and assessments, tailored to adult learning principles.

· Align training content with relevant regulations, policies, and organizational objectives.


Needs Analysis:

· Conduct gap analyses to identify compliance training needs and knowledge deficiencies.

· Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs), compliance officers, and operational leaders to define training objectives.


Content Creation:

· Translate complex regulations and policies into accessible, practical, and scenario-based learning experiences.

· Incorporate interactive elements such as simulations, case studies, and quizzes to enhance retention.


Training Delivery Support:

· Implement training programs via a learning management system (LMS) or other platforms.

· Facilitate instructor-led training (ILT) or virtual instructor-led training (vILT) sessions as needed.


Evaluation and Improvement:

· Design assessments to measure comprehension and application of compliance requirements.

· Monitor training effectiveness using feedback, compliance metrics, and performance data.

· Update training materials to reflect changes in regulations or company policies.


Compliance Expertise:

· Stay informed about regulatory updates and industry best practices.

· Act as a liaison between compliance teams and training stakeholders.


Skills and Qualifications:

· Expertise in instructional design methodologies (e.g., ADDIE, SAM).

· Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and policy frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOX, etc.).

· Proficiency in eLearning tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate).

· Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.

· Experience with LMS administration and reporting.


Outcomes:

· Increased compliance adherence across the organization.

· Reduced risk of regulatory breaches and associated penalties.

· Improved employee understanding and application of policies.
