PATIENT ACCESS SPECIALIST I at Conway Medical Center – Conway, South Carolina

Position Summary:

The Patient Access Specialist I (PAS I) will check-in patient upon arrival, identify correct patient information in Hospital Systems, verify patient demographic data, and edit as needed.

Qualifications

Assessment of overall credit worthiness by review of a consumer credit report is required .

• High School Diploma required.

• One year experience working with health insurance preferred.
• One year experience in patient registration in a medical environment preferred.

• Medical Terminology certification preferred.

• Exemplary core customer service skills strongly required.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Strong PC skills required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
