Procurement Specialist in Beavercreek, Ohio at Core4ce

Core4ce is seeking a Procurement Specialist, in support of our Air Force Research Laboratory team at Wright-Patterson AFB in Beavercreek, OH.

Responsibilities

• Receive order requests from customer/contract-based team members (including but not limited to materials, ODCs, and services)
• Ensure quotations (vendor quotes or cost proposal/RFS) are accurate and complete; ensure compliance with rules regarding multiple quotes, and/or sole source rules and documentation.
• Enter purchase orders into Costpoint system and collaborate with Program Management to approve orders.
• Keep digital and paper records of orders organized, and up to date.
• Collaborate with vendors on terms and conditions of orders, and track delivery as required.
• Assure process flows are followed. Update process documentation as needed.
• Support of government customer program review (conference) (LHMPR), including full lifecycle of event planning, catering, on-site/day of support, and wrap-up.
• Effectively execute and manage customer relationships, particularly in effective and efficient communication, to support expedient timely provision of procurement actions.
• Data and File management

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Ability to obtain/maintain security clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required)

Preferred

• Experience with government purchasing via GPC and contract mechanisms.
• Experience supporting multiple or matrixed customers (internal and external)

Physical Requirements / Travel

• Must be able to work in an office environment at a desk and computer.
• Local travel to/from Core4ce Beavercreek office and WPAFB as needed.
• Must be able to lift and maneuver heavy objects, independently up to 25 pounds, or heavier with proper assistance.
