Warehouse Associate in Royal Oak, Michigan at Universal Granite And Marble Of Missouri Inc

Responsible for ensuring the storage of all items, the warehouse associate is responsible for managing inventory, tagging items and maintaining a clean work area. The successful candidate will be highly organized and detail-oriented, and must have experience setting up shipping procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Move items from storage areas to designated workstations.
• Inspect work area and assist warehouse manager in maintaining a clean, organized working environment.
• Unload inventory from containers.
• Maintaining clear records on all inventory and stock
• Inspecting all stock for damages and keeping records of damages
• Loads and unloads trucks and containers which can include operating a forklift and yard crane
• Prepare orders for shipment
• Assist customers in the stone gallery as needed
