Key Responsibilities:

• Triage & Assessment:

  • Conduct thorough triage assessments of incoming patients, quickly identifying their needs and prioritizing care effectively

• Technical Proficiency:

  • Utilize your expertise in administering medications, fluids, and treatments, ensuring each patient receives the best possible care

• Monitoring and Support:

  • Continuously monitor vital signs and provide critical support to hospitalized patients, collaborating closely with Veterinarians to adjust treatment plans as needed

• Diagnostic Assistance:

  • Assist with essential diagnostic procedures, including radiology, laboratory tests, and ultrasound, leveraging your technical skills to aid in accurate diagnoses

• Client Education:

  • Communicate effectively with pet owners, explaining treatment plans and providing guidance on follow-up care, fostering trust and misunderstanding

Qualifications:

• Licensure: Current Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) license in good standing

• Experience: Prior experience in emergency or critical care is preferred, though a strong willingness to learn and grow is also valued

• Communication: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to connect with our patients and their families
