About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Shop Welder to join our team. As a Shop Welder, you will be responsible for welding and fabricating metal components to support our construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. This role requires a high level of technical expertise and a commitment to safety.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Completion of a welding program or apprenticeship
• At least 2 years of experience in welding and fabrication
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in welding
• Experience with MIG, TIG, and stick welding
• Experience with welding stainless steel and aluminum
• Experience with welding heavy equipment and machinery

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine welding requirements
• Operate welding equipment to weld and fabricate metal components
• Perform quality control checks to ensure finished products meet specifications
• Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition
• Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations at all times

Skills:

As a Shop Welder, you will use your welding and fabrication skills to create high-quality metal components that meet our construction project needs. You will need to be able to read and interpret blueprints and schematics, operate welding equipment, and perform quality control checks to ensure finished products meet specifications.
