About This Position
Job Overview:
Perform all of the repetitive high volume tests in modern clinical laboratory, Identify direct causes - technical or instrumental - of problems and make, simple corrections by using present strategies, Use and monitor quality control procedures within predetermined parameters, Is responsible for reporting, identified safety issues such as hazardous environments ,i,e, damaged floors/walls/ceiling tiles/unsecured areas and medical errors, etc,
Qualifications:
Required:
- Associate degree in a chemical, physical or biological science or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution
- MLT Certification within 8 months of employment
Scheduling Requirements:
- Full Time
- Day Shift
Essential Functions:
- Processes, performs and results medical diagnostic testing on bodily fluids by automated and manual methods in a timely manner under the supervision of the Senior Technologist
- Candidate will be able to enter orders into epic
- Maintain lab equipment and supplies
- Venipuncture and running blood
- Cbcs only
