Job Summary: Performs variety of key secretarial duties. Direct correspondence with patients, patient family members, radiologist and other physicians, staff and visitors. Can understand and support operations at the front desk and radiologist reading area for multiple facility locations. Performs all delegated activities in accordance with approved policies, guidelines and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include reception, managing incoming calls, providing excellent customer service on a consistent basis, CD creation and tracking- maintaining the confidentiality of all information. Requires strong computer skills; May be required to work in Radiology PACS system, hospital information system, and scheduling software in addition to desktop PC functions. Muti-tasking frequently required. Position requires flexibility in meeting work tasks requirements, adaptability to changing environments, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work well with all levels of management, patients, staff, physicians, and all other customers.

Qualifications: Completion of 12th grade (high school) or equivalent. Prefer completion of coursework in Microsoft office applications and knowledge of medical terminology. Two or more years experience in medical office environment strongly preferred. Ability to work effectively with physicians, general public, department and hospital staff.
