Certified Pool Lifeguard at Monte Vista Christian School – Watsonville, California

Responsible for the general supervision and safety of patrons of MVC's aquatic facility by preventing and responding to emergencies. Should be a superior swimmer who is able to give advice on water safety to users, conduct swift-water rescues and control unruly behavior if necessary.

• Current certification in Lifeguarding, CPR/AED, and First Aid (required)
• Prior experience as a pool lifeguard (preferred)
• Strong observation and communication skills
• Ability to remain alert and focused during extended periods
• Comfortable working with young children in a dynamic camp setting
