About This Position

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a CNA Float, where every day brings new opportunities to make a difference. Under the guidance of the Nurse Manager or Director, and working closely with Registered Nurses and physicians, you'll deliver skilled, compassionate, and age-specific care across multiple units. From assisting with daily living activities and taking vital signs to performing clinical procedures and closely monitoring patients’ conditions, you'll play a critical role in ensuring high-quality care and a positive patient experience. If you're adaptable, detail-oriented, and ready to support patients and staff across a variety of settings, this is the role for you. Your observations and input will be valued as you help shape patient outcomes and provide exceptional care at every step.
Hourly Pay Rate: $24.00 (FLAT)
Qualifications
Education:
  • Prefers a High School Diploma or GED.
Experience:
  • Prefer at least one (1) year of relevant nursing assistant or healthcare-related experience.
Specialized Training:
  • Must successfully complete approved Valleywise Health computer classes.
Certification/Licensure:
  • Requires licensure through the AZ Board of Nursing as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
  • A BLS card obtained through an approved American Heart Association (AHA) training center is preferred and will be required within 3 months.
  • Ambulatory Clinics/Desert Vista - Unit 2 Adolescent: Must have a valid fingerprint clearance card issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety or submit a completed Affidavit at the time of hire. Must complete fingerprint clearance card application within seven (7) days of hire date. Must present actual card within 90 days of applying for a fingerprint clearance card.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Bilingual is preferred.
  • Must have the ability to work with culturally diverse people.
  • Requires excellent communication, time management, and leadership skills.
  • Requires the ability to read, write, and speak effectively in English.
  • Must be able to float to all departments as needed.
  • Must be able to meet the conditions as stated in the employment agreement.
