We’re looking for an energetic, reliable, and hospitality-driven Shift Lead to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys leading a team, and takes pride in delivering excellent customer experiences.

• Lead and motivate the front- and back-of-house team during assigned shifts

• Ensure smooth day-to-day operations, including opening/closing duties

• Uphold Proper Burger’s standards for food quality, cleanliness, and customer service

• Train and support team members to deliver consistent and friendly service

• Handle customer concerns with professionalism and care

• Monitor cash handling, safety, and compliance with company policies

• Communicate effectively with management on shift performance and needs

• Previous experience in food service, retail, or hospitality (leadership experience a plus)

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

• A team player who leads by example and creates a positive work culture

• Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-casual environment

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

• Passion for great food and community

• Starting at $17.00/hour, with clear growth opportunities to $18–$20/hour based on performance
