Job Title: Cashier

Position Summary:
The Cashier is the first point of contact for our guests and plays a key role in providing excellent customer service. This position is responsible for processing orders accurately, handling transactions, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and assisting the team as needed. A cashier at Field of Greens ensures that every guest has a friendly, efficient, and positive experience.

Responsibilities:

• Greet guests with a warm and friendly attitude.

• Accurately take customer orders using the POS system.

• Process payments (cash, credit, gift cards, and mobile transactions) quickly and correctly.

• Answer guest questions regarding menu items, ingredients, and specials.

• Ensure accuracy of all orders before handing them off to guests or the food expeditor.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked cashier and lobby area.

• Assist with packaging to-go orders as needed.

• Follow all cash handling policies and procedures.

• Support the team with restocking, light cleaning, and other tasks as assigned.

• Uphold Field of Greens standards for service, cleanliness, and professionalism.

Qualifications:

• Previous cashier, retail, or food service experience preferred but not required.

• Strong customer service and communication skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy and efficiency.

• Basic math and computer/POS skills.

• Reliable, punctual, and a positive team player.

• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light lifting (up to 25 lbs).
