Summary
Prepares and assembles electrical components of compressor packages by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Reads blueprints, wiring diagrams, process sheets, and assembly and schematic drawings, and receives verbal instructions regarding work assignment.
• Plan and execute conduit routes based on drawings
• Use conduit bender to form conduit runs around obstacles
• Understands and installs different components and parts such as electrical devices and instrumentation on compressor packages.
• Pull and terminate different types of wiring.
• Use a welder to attach strut for mounting conduit to compressor package
• The ability to use excel spreadsheets to import able tags.
• Must be able to communicate and work together with other members of production in order to coordinate upcoming routing and corrective action plans when needed.
• May cross-train in other functions of the assembly team.

Qualifications

• One year certificate from college or technical school or related experience and training
• 2-5 year’s experience working in an industrial environment
• Ability to read blue prints and use simple math skills
• Ability to read and interpret a tape measure
• Must be able to work as a team
• Ability to pass a drug test
