Position Summary
- The Sales Consultant will be a highly motivated individual with strong negotiation and closing skills with the ability to overcome objections in a face-to-face consultation
- Meet with new and existing patients to determine their goals, provide value and educate them regarding our procedures, process, documentation, and financing/payment options available
- Manage the appropriate follow up with both the clinical team and the patient to ensure a great experience leading up to and after the procedure
- Maintain and develop a patient pipeline and regularly follow up with prospective patients who did not move forward in their initial consultation
Essential Duties/Functions
- Conduct face to face consultations and assist our patients with understanding our procedures
- Maintain contact with patients to ensure satisfaction and address any issues of concern
- Document regular contact with patients via call log to include date, time and result of interactions.
- Develop new business opportunities to support the companys growth plan. This should include following leads and cultivating relationships.
- Maintain log of leads/contacts to include date, time, contact name and result of call
- Develop follow up plans for all leads
- Possess knowledge of all procedures to best represent and convey our services
- Understand the ways in which the procedures are performed
- Receive and address patient inquiries via phone, email, in person
- Interact with patients in a pleasant, courteous, and timely manner
- Keep notes and records of all patient communications
- Relay pertinent information to management as appropriate to the matter at hand.
- Work with others in the company as needed to resolve specific issues.
- Participate in related training, conduct research appropriate to the work
- Share ideas for process improvement that will help the company grow.
- Adhere to all safety protocols to include but not be limited to hand washing, wearing of protective gear as appropriate to task and illness reporting.
- Complete all mandatory training
- Follow all state, federal and/or local health and safety rules, laws, and regulations
- Additional job duties as assigned
Education
Associate degree required.
Bachelors degree preferred.
Successful sales experience may be substituted for academic credentials.
Experience
Candidates will have a proven outstanding track record (minimum of 3 years) of success in sales in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
Experience with one-on-one consultation selling in industries such as plastic surgery, cosmetic surgery, or medspa is preferred
Interpersonal Skills and Attributes
- Is a quick study: can immediately build rapport, assess the patients needs, and create a sense of urgency to drive action
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills that builds effective working relationships with patients, physicians, and other team members
- Must be a self-starter, accountable, and highly motivated to hit and exceed targets to reap financial rewards (manage KPIs).
- Maintains professionalism and poise constantly, even when working under pressure
- Will possess high motivation, confidence, emotional intelligence, credibility, integrity, and a hard-working passionate work ethic
- Bilingual English and Spanish is a plus
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding patient health information
- Ability to focus on patient safety, teamwork, patient outcomes, patient experience and quality improvement
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Strong communication skills: written and verbal and interpersonal
- Pleasant and positive and outgoing demeanor
- Reliable and strong work ethic required with good attendance
- Interact with others in a spirit of teamwork, tact, and professionalism, understanding of sense of urgency and ability to prioritize, flexibility to work extended hours as needed, local travel
- Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation)
- Must be highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize competing tasks
- Ability to multitask, handling multiple and varied issues simultaneously
- General knowledge of Internet navigation and research, email, fax transmissions, phone communication, and copy equipment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Excellent problem-solving skills, multitasking and flexibility
Compensation
Earnings include monthly base salary plus monthly commission bonus
Base salary $42,000/year
Projected commissions and base salary in year 1 total $80,000 - $120,000
Projected commissions and base salary in year 2 total $120,000 - $160,000
Daily preset consultations (warm leads provided)
