Overview
Responsibilities
Education:
Quality Assurance Operations
- Review and validate feature and testing requirements and technical specifications
- Develop and execute test plans with detailed test cases based on requirements, feedback, and priority
- Document results; offer observations or improvements after analysis of test results and overall product quality
- Collaborate with the development team on bug fix verification and validation.
- Communicate professionally at all levels within and outside of the organization
- Support, design, develop, and enhance test processes and reporting for QA processes in support of the QA team
- Manage testing efforts throughout development lifecycle, including planning, execution, and maintenance
- Define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and provide solutions
Automated Testing
- Coordinate automated test planning
- Design, develop, and monitor automated tests
- Review testing workflows to find opportunities for improvements and additional automation
Responsibilities
Education:
- Master’s degree in computer science, a related field, or a clinical field and four years work related experience in the information technology field or a combination of clinical or operational healthcare environments; OR
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, a related field, or a clinical field and six years work related experience in the information technology field or a combination of clinical or operational healthcare environments; OR
- Associate’s degree in computer science, a related field, or a clinical field and seven years work related experience in the information technology field or a combination of clinical or operational healthcare environments; OR
- Eight years work related experience in the information technology field or a combination of clinical or operational healthcare environments; OR
- Equivalent combination of education and experience where one year of experience will be substituted for an Associate’s degree and two years of experience will be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.
Experience:
- At least 3 years quality assurance experience in Agile Development environments
- Minimum 1 year experience with automated testing tools or equivalent automation skills
- Experience with web-based application testing (minimum 3 years)
- Experience with integration testing between applications (minimum 3 years)
Job Related Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (Competencies):
- Thorough working knowledge of software
- Familiarity with Agile Software Development Methodologies
- testing methodologies and the testing life cycle
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A team player and self- starter who will work side by side with the development team
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks, and quickly adjust as required
- Strong ability to structure complex information for a variety of audiences
- General knowledge of content management systems and modern website technologies
- Ability to quickly learn new software
- Familiarity with project management tools and software
- Experience with Drupal
- Demonstrated proficiency in Drupal, Bitbucket, JIRA, Confluence, and Jenkins
Background in Health Care or Higher Education IT.
