Environmental/Civil Engineer/Geologist at Sovereign Consulting

Sovereign Consulting Inc. is seeking a full-time Entry to Mid-Level Environmental / Civil Engineer or Geologist with 3-5 years of experience for our Casper, Wyoming location under the supervision of a professional engineer. Sovereign Consulting Inc. is an environmental consulting and remediation firm headquartered in Robbinsville, NJ.

Responsibilities:

• Provide field and office support of civil related construction and remediation projects and other site investigations involving oversight of environmental drilling, well installation, soil sampling, and groundwater gauging and sampling
• Support environmental remediation and civil construction design tasks, including soil and groundwater remediation design, groundwater production or monitoring well design, hydraulic system design, water and sewer system design and potentially wastewater treatment.
• Provide construction and excavation quality control and/or health and safety oversight
• Assist with technical report preparation including regulatory permits and reports (WYPDES, SWPPP, etc.), remedy selection decision documents (RSDD), system performance reviews, specification and bid documents and other engineering related proposals
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Handle other related duties assigned; and
• Adherence to Sovereign Consulting Inc. health and safety procedures in all field related activities

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of related experience is required
• A bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering, preferred
• Desire to obtain professional licensure (PE)
• OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification and OSHA 30-hr Construction or General Industry certification, a plus
• Demonstrated technical writing skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft office, Adobe, and CAD; GIS experience a plus; Bentley Hydraulics and Hydrology Software (WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, CulvertMaster, etc.) experience a plus
• Must have excellent communication, analytical, and field construction skills
• Must have a good driving record and be able to dive a company vehicle

Salary will be commensurate with experience.
