Avail is seeking a CNC Water Jet & Plasma Table Operator to fabricate components that meet naval specifications. This role involves operating CNC cutting machines, ensuring quality control, and maintaining safety standards in a fast-paced environment. The position will focus more on 2D Tool Pathing rather than Modeling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate & maintain CNC water jet and plasma cutting machines.
• Handle & position materials using forklifts and shop equipment.
• Ensure quality by verifying dimensions with precision tools.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean workspace.
• Troubleshoot equipment and perform routine maintenance.

Requirements:

• Experience with CNC cutting machines (water jet/plasma).
• Blueprint reading skills a plus.
• Proficiency in software such as Fusion 360, AutoCAD, or Alphacam is preferred.
• Strong safety awareness in industrial environments.
• Physical ability to stand, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in shipyard conditions.
• Vocational training in CNC machining or fabrication is a plus.
