Let's get down to business here with what you really want to know. Here is the starting pay scale:

$16.00 - No experience in the event industry or driving a truck. It's ok! We can get you trained and then you make more once you know what you are doing.

$17.00- You have experience in either driving a box truck or the event industry. We will train you in what you don't have experience in and then you get a raise when you are up to speed.

$18.00- You have driven a box truck and know about the party and event industry.

Want a larger wage than this? Tell us why! It never hurts to ask. After 90 days we will review where you are at and give raises if you have learned the new skills. We also have some weekend and afterhours works that pays $50-$60 per hour.

Miller's Party Rental Center is looking for a Crew Lead to unload, load, set up/knockdown and transport event rental equipment to and from event sites and warehouse locations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Drive 16' or 24' box truck

Deliver and or set up event and party equipment

Load, unload, equipment in truck

Verify order paperwork for completeness and accuracy

Perform pre and post-trip vehicle inspections

Communicate with dispatch to ensure equipment is delivered as efficiently as possible

Provide customers basic training upon delivery

Record and report any damage to the equipment

Minor vehicle maintenance

Other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:

Prefer but do not need to have experience driving a commercial vehicle

Local delivery experience preferred but not mandatory

All hires will be trained in all aspects of position

Must be able to lift and carry up to 80 lbs.

Valid State issued driver's license

High School Diploma or equivalent

Must be able to read, write, and speak English

Must be able to pass drug test
