Pick and Pack at Corvac Composites, LLC – Kentwood, Michigan

BACKGROUND REQUIRED:

§ Should have good reading, writing, communication, and math skills

§ High School or GED

SPECIAL SKILLS:

• Reading and writing skills adequate for following written instructions and completing required documentation.
• Ability to inspect product visually.
• Ability to handle shipping paperwork.
• Knowledge of or ability to learn both internal and customer part numbers and warehouse locations.
• Exposure to lean manufacturing principles
• Entry level computer work including releasing bills.
• Ability to get HILO License.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Adhere to company policies and procedures, including Safety, Quality, and EMS
• Repack production parts
• Repackaging of product as needed to ensure accurate shipment
• Follow standardized work instructions
• Fully participate in and support the Corvac Quality System
• Observe general and specific safety rules. This includes observing light curtain and other safety devices while the machine is in operation
• Maintain the cleanliness of the work area and contribute to the overall orderliness of the plant
• Responsible for setting up loads for shipment.
• Confirm count of all parts per container. Confirm the correct container / skid is used and is not damaged
• Organized storage of finished goods prior to shipment.
