How you will make an impact:
As a Physical Therapist Assistant at St. Mark Village, you will work under the direction of physical therapists to implement therapy treatments and assist in creating and confirming care plans. You will advise families on patient care needs and provide guidance and education during therapy sessions, including teaching patients to use adaptive technology and equipment. Additionally, you will conduct home visits to demonstrate mobility and safety techniques, assist patients with functional skills and daily living activities, and coordinate activities to improve residents' physical, mental, and social well-being.
Schedule: This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday, with flexible start and end times.
What you will need:
- Must be registered and licensed in the state of Florida to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant (required).
- Graduation from an accredited PTA program (required).
- 2-3 years of experience in skilled nursing rehab (preferred).
