Job Description – IT Application Specialist PLM
FLSA Status: Exempt
Reports To: IT Application Manager
Primary Function: Teamcenter Implementation including maintenance.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Be responsible for the implementation of PLM projects, including business interviews, data collection and collation, and solution design.
- Be responsible for the system architecture, system installation and configuration, development testing, and system optimization of PLM projects.
- Be responsible for installing and configuring software in accordance with system architecture specifications and managing project - process documents.
- Be responsible for the maintenance and technical support of the customer system.
- Participate in the capability building and knowledge transfer of implementation consultants, as well as the research and collation of implementation tools and solutions.
Required Education
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent education required. MS preferred.
Required Experience
- More than 3 years of experience in in Teamcenter system implementation.
- proficient in Teamcenter’s common modules, familiar with the TCM module.
- Familiar with the architecture, function modules and industry applications of the Teamcenter system.
- Familiar with Windows operating system and Oracle or PL/SQL is preferred.
- Familiar with Unix, Linux, or C/C++, Java,.Net, XML is preferred.
- Those with Teamcenter performance tuning capabilities are preferred.
- Skilled in the use of common Office software, possess strong learning ability.
- Priority is given to those who have obtained Siemens - provided certificates.
- Possess team spirit, good communication and expression skills, and certain organizational abilities.
- Be able to travel on business according to project needs.
