This role may serve patients across ​Washington County. Ideal candidates live in or near ​Hurricane or Cedar City, Utah or are able to commute reliably.

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
  • Minimum 1 year of post-acute experience preferred
  • Licensed provider in the state or ability to attain unrestricted state license

Candidate Responsibilities:

  • Perform clinical assessment and appropriately manage patients
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests as appropriate
  • Performs procedures as trained and appropriately credentialed
  • Complete accurate and timely progress notes and admission/transfer orders
  • Educates patient on disease and treatment plans
