GiaCare Inc. is currently accepting applications for experienced, civilian Occupational Health Registered Nurses (RN) in support of NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) in Langley, Virginia.

Requirements

Education:

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing or Bachelor’s in Nursing.

Certifications:

• Registered Nurse: Commonwealth of Virginia
  • Certified Occupational Health Registered Nurse (COHN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Experience:

• Two (2) years' Registered Nurse experience.

Duties:

• Provides a range of nursing services, including preventative health care counseling
• Coordinates health care needs and makes referrals to medical specialists
• Required to perform audiometric hearing exams
• Assesses and treats minor health problems
• Administers emergency treatment
• Performs advanced cardiac life support
• Performs limited portions of physical examinations
• Pulmonary function testing
• Perform medical evaluations and provide treatments for occupational medical injuries and illnesses within scope of contract
