Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) - Paramedic at Giacare Inc – San Antonio, Texas

GiaCare Inc. is now accepting applications for experienced, civilian Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT-P) in support of Joint Base San Antonio's Camp Bullis (San Antonio, Texas).

EMT/Paramedic Qualifications

Degree: Graduate from an accredited NREMT program. Shall have appropriate level(s) of education and certification to perform the required function – at a minimum, shall possess a High School Diploma, or equivalent.

Experience: Have a minimum of three (3) years of paramedic experience within the last five (5) years.

Licensure/Registration: Possess and Maintain registration by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT-P). Candidates may hold a State of Texas EMT Registration in lieu of NREMT.

Certifications in addition to Advanced Life Support: Basic Life Support (BLS), Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC), Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advance Life Support (PALS) are required. Maintain an American Heart Association or American Red Cross CPR/AED certification.. Members must present proof of current certification(s) through American Health Association, American Red Cross, or the American Safety & Health Institute.
