About This Position
In anticipation of a future government contract award, GiaCare Inc. is accepting applications for experienced, civilian Registered Nurses (Internal Medicine) to work alongside the 99th Medical Group, in support of Nellis Air Force Base (Las Vegas, Nevada).
Qualifications:
Experience: Three years of experience in nursing.
Degree/Education: Bachelor's of Science in Nursing. Graduate from a college or university accredited by National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC), or The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
Certification:
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
Licensure/Registration: Must have a permanent, full, and unrestricted Registered Nursing license to practice nursing in a US State, District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.
Duties:
• Ability to synthesize data from a variety of sources and make appropriate clinical decisions.
• Coordinates patient care through a continuum and facilitates the achievement of optimal outcomes in relation to clinical care, quality and cost effectiveness.
• Ensures compliance with standards of care and practice in accordance with all established policies, procedures, and guidelines used in the medical treatment facility. Provides care within ethical and legal boundaries.
• Assesses patients, including the ability to assess/evaluate telephonically.
• Perform physical exam and health histories.
• Provide health promotions, counseling, and education.
