Receptionist (Medical Clinic)

Louisiana Gastroenterology Associates is a team of dedicated and accomplished professionals utilizing state of the art technology and proven methods to provide exceptional patient care. We are recruiting for a full-time receptionist who shares our passion for ensuring superior patient care in the field of gastroenterology.

Responsibilities:

• Checks patients in upon arrival at the clinic.
• Greets patients on the phone.
• Ensures that the appropriate forms are completed by patient.
• Verifies insurance coverage.
• Enters appropriate data into electronic system.
• Scans and file documents.
• Projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Experience working in an office environment is required.
• A minimum of one year experience as a receptionist is required.
• Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy is required.
• Experience working in a medical office is required.

Hours of Work:

Monday – Friday 7am-3:30pm
