Job Description

Position Description: The Research Compliance Coordinator must be knowledgeable of standard research and oncology care practices. The Research Compliance Coordinator advocates for patient safety and protocol integrity, adheres to patient care standards, and communicates effectively to ensure effective conduct of clinical trials and quality patient care.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in the Sciences. Certification not required.
  • Knowledgeable of standard research practices.
  • Effective communicator.
  • Knowledge of appropriate software including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat
  • Attention to detail, organized and accurate in work product.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential and other important responsibilities and duties may include but are not limited to the following:
  • Review and comprehend the research study protocol.
  • Develop and maintain study documents, templates, or forms per protocol requirements.
  • Ensure all protocol requirements have been captured on site specific forms, documents, or templates.
  • Assess protocol for discrepancies or questions to ensure accurate source documents and forms are created.
  • Assess and update forms for protocol amendments or protocol clarification letters.
  • Assess and update forms when issues are identified during patient treatments.
  • Participate in quality control activities to ensure data integrity, including timely responses to database or sponsor queries
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination.

  • Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 40 lbs.
  • Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range
Supervision
The Research Compliance Coordinator reports to the Director of PK and Labs.
