POSITIONS:Firefighter Trainee, Firefighter EMT, Firefighter AEMT, Firefighter Paramedic, and Firefighter Engineer I and IISTARTING SALARY:Firefighter Trainee, no experience; $42,020.16 per year.Firefighter I; $43,301.44 per year; Firefighter II; $44,175.04 per yearFirefighter I EMT; $46,388.16 per year; Firefighter II EMT; $47,290.88 per yearFirefighter I AEMT; $48,688.64 per year; Firefighter II AEMT; $49,649.60 per yearFirefighter I Paramedic; $51,018.24 per year; Firefighter II Paramedic; $52,008.32 per yearMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:1.At least 18 years of age with high school diploma or equivalent2.Honorable Discharge from Military Service (if applicable)3.Excellent physical condition with weight in proportion to height4.Excellent moral character and free of criminal conviction record5.Able to pass a written exam, physical agility test, psychological evaluation, backgroundInvestigation, medical examination, and drug screening. 6.Have or be able to obtain Tennessee Driver's License within 30 days of appointment and must have a cell phone/home phone.Individuals who desire to participate in the selection process MUST have a completed employment application on file.
