About This Position
Oracle Finance Functional Consultant:
Position Type: Contractor
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Oracle Functional Consultant for Finance to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ERP systems, with a focus on Finance modules. While specific experience with Oracle is advantageous, it is not mandatory. The candidate should possess excellent analytical skills, a deep understanding of finance processes, and the ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, facilitating functional discussions and providing expert guidance on Oracle's financial modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Cash Management.
- Address client inquiries and concerns related to the implemented solutions, offering timely and accurate responses.
- Collaborate with the project team to ensure a comprehensive understanding of client requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
- Document and communicate functional specifications, design considerations, and potential improvements to the client's financial processes.
- Assist in coordinating testing activities, including test script preparation, execution, and defect tracking.
- Provide post-implementation support and knowledge transfer to ensure client satisfaction and system adoption.
- Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of ERP financial modules, particularly in General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Cash Management.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Functional consulting role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in creating test plans and coordinating testing activities is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks, while also contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is highly desirable.
- Experience with Oracle Financials or Oracle Cloud ERP is a significant plus.
