Job Summary – Mechanic, Vacuum Truck Maintenance
The Diesel Mechanic is responsible for servicing and maintaining vacuum trucks, accessories, and related equipment to ensure they are rental-ready and operating at peak performance.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, service, and re-build various types of vacuum trucks
• Interpret prints and instructions to complete mechanical tasks
• Apply mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot and develop solutions
• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through quality service

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 5 years of diesel mechanic experience with automatic and manual equipment
• 3-5 years of driving experience (CDL or Non-CDL)
• Valid driver’s license and current DOT certification required or willing to obtain within 3 months of employment
• Working knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems
• Ability to operate and interpret diagnostic systems
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Familiarity with Fleet Management and ERP systems
• Clear driving record
