National Trails is dedicated to providing safe, reliable, and well-maintained school and motor coach transportation for our community. We take pride in the appearance and condition of our fleet, and we’re looking for a skilled Auto Repair Associate to help keep our school buses and motor coaches looking and operating their best.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm

Position Overview:

The Autobody Repair Associate will be responsible for performing a variety of body repairs, paintwork, and cosmetic restorations on school buses and motor coaches. This role ensures that our vehicles not only meet safety standards but also maintain a clean and professional appearance for the students and community we serve.

Requirements:
  • Inspect and assess damage to bus exteriors, frames, and components.
  • Perform body repairs, including dent removal, panel replacement, and structural straightening.
  • Sand, prime, and paint vehicles using proper techniques and materials.
  • Replace or repair windows, mirrors, lights, and other body-related components.
  • Ensure all repairs meet safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate repair records and work orders.
  • Collaborate with mechanics and maintenance staff to coordinate repair schedules.
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety procedures.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in auto repair preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in auto repair (school bus or heavy vehicle experience a plus).
  • Proficient in welding, fabrication, and painting techniques.
  • Ability to work with a variety of tools and repair equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in various weather conditions.
  • Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred or willingness to obtain).
  • Must have own Tools
