Responsibilities
Step into a rewarding hospitalbased OB/GYN career where clinical impact, teamwork, and lifestyle all come together. Pediatrix & Obstetrix® is seeking an OB/GYN Hospitalist to join our experienced team at HCA Florida Palms West Hospital, serving one of the most desirable regions in South Florida.
- Join a stable team of four hospitalists providing 24/7 labor & delivery coverage
- 7–8 24hour shifts per month—enjoy predictable scheduling and meaningful work-life balance
- *Recently increased rate and generous sign on bonus
- Diverse responsibilities including:
- OB triage
- Deliveries
- Patient management
- Surgical assists
- Fetal monitoring
- OB/GYN ER coverage
- Supported by a Level III NICU, MFMs, neonatologists, and a full range of pediatric subspecialists
- High-volume environment with 1,800+ annual deliveries and 3,200 triage encounters
- Ideal candidates should hold or be eligible for a Florida medical license
- A trusted 204-bed acute care hospital with over 30 years of dedicated community service
- Home to a full-service children’s hospital and advanced Level III NICU
- Key teaching site hosting pediatric residency programs and medical school rotations
- Accredited by The Joint Commission and multiple specialty organizations—recognized for quality and patient care excellence
