Latitude Inc. is on the lookout for an enthusiastic and driven Test & Evaluation Engineer Support Specialist. Key Responsibilities:
As a Test & Evaluation Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in the success of our projects. Your responsibilities will include:
Collaborating with CWL and MTWS engineers to conduct testing and integration. Employing a professional and confident approach when working with various engineering groups and external entities to define, document, analyze, conduct, and interpret tests. Identifying functional issues and proposing effective resolutions. Operating in a fast-paced, integrated product development team comprising professionals from multiple contracting organizations and DoD laboratory entities. Developing and analyzing test cases while providing regular progress updates. Reporting to a supervisor or manager, demonstrating a high degree of autonomy in your work. Navy or submarine experience is a valuable asset Specific Responsibilities: Your day-to-day tasks will involve: Crafting comprehensive test procedures. Proficiently utilizing electrical measurement tools, such as oscilloscopes and multimeters. Conducting Verification and Validation for corrective changes. Performing installations, rip-outs, testing, and validation of tactical systems. Assisting in configuring the lab in accordance with relevant drawings and port maps. Supporting informal and formal test events, as well as other customer-driven test activities. Identifying, analyzing, and documenting software, firmware, and hardware defects and collaborating with the engineering team to troubleshoot and resolve issues. Occasional travel to submarine home ports for Field Services activities. Supporting the Logistics team in the development of installation and operation procedures.
$30 - $35 an hour
