About This Position
RADIOLOGY TECH - WEEKENDER
Working Conditions:
• Hours may vary as required by job.
• Subject to frequent interruptions and changes in priority of duties throughout the day.
• Sitting, standing, moving during work hours.
• Lunch periods and breaks are coordinated with other staff members to maintain adequate
coverage.
• Cross training in areas of the department as required.
• Colleagues may be assigned to different locations within the foundation.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
Department Summary:
The department provides diagnostic x-ray imaging services within the health care facility to patients in need.

Position Summary:
The technologist works under the direction of a radiologist, performing specific section procedures with high quality. Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative to apply the prescribed diagnostic imaging equipment for production of high-quality images. Assume responsibility for designated areas or procedures as requested.

Qualifications:
•Maintain current licenses and certifications as required.
•Complete and adhere to knowledge gained through annual employee education.
•Ability to meet and interact with the public in a mature, courteous, and professional manner.
•Ability to operate equipment within the department.
•Maintain Aultman attendance standards.

•Properly position patients for high image quality.
•Medical record documentation in HIS and RIS or systems required per department.
•Review each examination for quality.
•Maintain cleanliness of equipment and stock supplies.
•Communicate pertinent information to supervisor or responsible individual.
•Explain exams/procedures to patients and address any questions or concerns.
•Adhere to Aultman policies and procedures.
•No direct reports for this position.
