Fremont Motors is looking for a reliable, customer-focused Parts Counter Associate to support our technicians, customers, and service team. • Essential Duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Solicits new / current parts wholesale business for Fremont Motor Company; acts as a liaison with wholesale customers, by expediting parts requests to minimize downtime for our wholesale customers.
• Limited travel to the surrounding communities is required to maintain and solicit new wholesale accounts.
• Maintains an updated customer database, complete with contact information; email, phone and address.
• Reviews body shop estimates to be sure the parts that are ordered are correct and all pricing is in line with the estimate.
• Referring to parts manuals (both hard copy and electronic format) to identify exactly the right part(s) for the make, model and year of vehicles being serviced.
• Answers phone calls within 3 rings, providing price quotes and other information.
• Assists all customers (retail and shop) in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner.
• Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
• Pulls and fills orders from stock.
• Assists with delivery of parts to wholesale customers as needed.
• Notifies parts manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention.

• Previous automotive parts experience ideal, but not required

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

• Comfortable with computers and parts lookup systems
