This role places you at the center of global supplier quality operations across Asia, where you will ensure manufacturing partners meet strict standards of compliance, reliability, and product excellence. Acting as the key quality authority in the region, you will bridge engineering, manufacturing, and leadership teams to ensure successful new product introductions and sustained production quality. The environment is highly international, requiring close collaboration across India, China, Japan, the Philippines, and the United States. You will lead audits, drive root cause investigations, and enforce corrective actions that directly impact product performance and customer satisfaction. This is a high-ownership position where independence, technical depth, and integrity are essential. You will also play a critical role in shaping supplier relationships and strengthening global manufacturing excellence.
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing supplier quality across Asia, ensuring adherence to global standards and internal policies while maintaining strict independence in supplier evaluation and reporting. You will lead audits, monitor supplier performance, and provide actionable insights to improve quality systems and reduce operational risks. You will also act as the primary quality interface during new product introductions, supporting EVT/DVT/PVT builds, factory readiness, and production ramp-up activities.
- Lead supplier quality management across regional manufacturing partners, ensuring compliance with ISO/TS standards and company requirements
- Conduct supplier audits and validate manufacturing readiness, identifying risks and driving continuous improvement initiatives
- Support new product introduction cycles, including EVT/DVT builds, FAT, EOL testing, and production readiness assessments
- Collaborate with engineering teams on design validation, test planning, and manufacturability improvements
- Drive root cause analysis, 8D problem solving, and corrective/preventive action closure for supplier quality issues
- Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve field issues and ensure feedback loops from production and installations
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting on supplier performance, risks, and improvement actions
The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in supplier quality and manufacturing oversight within global supply chains, combined with strong technical expertise in quality systems and production processes. You should be comfortable working independently in complex, multi-country environments and managing high-stakes supplier relationships. Strong analytical thinking, communication skills, and a structured approach to problem-solving are essential.
- 10–15 years of experience in supplier quality, manufacturing quality, or quality management roles in global organizations
- Strong knowledge of ISO/TS standards, APQP, PPAP, and related quality frameworks
- Hands-on experience with NPI processes, including EVT/DVT/PVT builds and production ramp-up activities
- Proven expertise in root cause analysis, 8D methodology, and corrective action management
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and manufacturing documentation
- Experience working with PLM systems and document control processes
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage global stakeholders clearly and effectively
- Strong integrity, independence, and ability to make objective decisions under pressure
