This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Front-End Software Engineer – Global Team based in India.
In this role, you will join a high-performing global engineering team focused on building modern, data-driven web applications that deliver exceptional user experiences at scale. You will take ownership of complex frontend systems and contribute directly to the development of a new mobile-first product designed to simplify everyday user interactions. This position blends product thinking with deep technical execution, requiring strong expertise in performance, scalability, and clean UI architecture. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional global teams, including product managers, designers, and backend engineers, to define and deliver impactful features. The role offers significant ownership from concept to deployment, with a strong emphasis on innovation, experimentation, and continuous improvement. You will also help maintain and enhance existing systems while contributing to technical discussions that shape product direction. - Lead the design and development of modern, high-performance frontend applications, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and strong user experience.
- Take ownership of new feature development from concept through implementation, delivery, and iteration.
- Collaborate with global cross-functional teams to gather requirements, contribute to technical design discussions, and translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Build responsive, accessible, and visually consistent user interfaces using modern frontend technologies.
- Optimize application performance, ensuring fast load times, smooth interactions, and efficient rendering at scale.
- Maintain and enhance existing products through iterative improvements, bug fixes, and UX enhancements.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architecture decisions to uphold engineering quality standards.
- Work closely with backend engineers to integrate APIs and ensure seamless end-to-end system functionality.
- Contribute to a culture of engineering excellence, ownership, and continuous improvement.
- 7+ years of experience in frontend development with strong exposure to production-grade web applications.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript (JSX), HTML5, and CSS.
- Hands-on experience with React and modern frontend architecture patterns.
- Solid understanding of state management tools such as Redux and working with GraphQL APIs.
- Experience integrating frontend systems with Node.js-based services is a plus.
- Strong understanding of web performance optimization, debugging, and testing practices.
- Familiarity with build tools and bundlers such as Webpack or similar is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on scalable and efficient solutions.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in distributed global teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
