Position Summary
Crescent Constructors, Inc. is seeking a Foreman – Water/Wastewater to lead and supervise field crews on water and wastewater infrastructure projects. The Foreman is responsible for directing daily work activities, coordinating labor and equipment, and ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project plans and specifications. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical knowledge of water and wastewater construction, and a commitment to quality and safety.
What You'll Do
- Supervise and direct daily activities of craft labor on water and wastewater construction projects
- Coordinate crew assignments, equipment usage, and material needs to support project schedules
- Plan and execute daily work activities in coordination with the Superintendent and project team
- Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and work plans
- Ensure work is performed in compliance with safety policies, OSHA regulations, and site-specific requirements
- Conduct job safety analyses, toolbox talks, and daily safety briefings
- Monitor work quality and productivity and address issues as they arise
- Communicate effectively with field crews, subcontractors, and supervision
- Assist with tracking labor hours, work progress, and production quantities
- Support inspections, testing, and punch list activities
- Lead by example in maintaining a safe, productive, and professional jobsite
- Perform additional duties as directed by the Superintendent or Project Manager
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Foreman or Lead Craft professional on water and wastewater construction projects
- Strong knowledge of construction means and methods specific to water and wastewater infrastructure
- Experience supervising craft labor and coordinating daily work activities
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and schedules
- Strong understanding of jobsite safety requirements and quality standards
- Ability to effectively communicate with crews, supervisors, and project teams
- Ability to perform the physical requirements of the job, including prolonged standing, walking, climbing, and working in active construction environments
- Ability to take direction from supervisors and remain task-oriented
- Commitment to following all company and general safety rules, policies, and guidelines
