This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Application Administrator based in United States.
The Application Administrator plays a key role in ensuring the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of core business applications.
This role serves as a primary bridge between IT and business users, translating operational needs into effective system configurations and enhancements.
You will act as a subject matter expert for one or more enterprise applications, supporting end users and resolving complex functional issues.
The position involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to support organizational initiatives, projects, and process improvements.
You will also contribute to system reliability by identifying root causes, recommending enhancements, and ensuring high-quality user support.
In addition, this role offers the opportunity to mentor junior team members and help strengthen overall team capability and knowledge sharing.
- Provide advanced support and configuration for enterprise applications, resolving complex user issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Serve as the main liaison between IT and business units, supporting application enhancements and improvement initiatives.
- Partner with technical and functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve escalated system issues.
- Ensure accurate documentation of incidents, solutions, processes, and system procedures within tracking systems.
- Participate in IT projects supporting business priorities, including system improvements and operational initiatives.
- Recommend system and process enhancements to reduce recurring issues and improve user experience.
- Act as a mentor and knowledge resource for junior team members, supporting their development and performance.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in business systems analysis and application administration/support (e.g., ERP, Finance, HR, Order-to-Cash, or similar platforms).
- At least 2 years of experience working with SQL for data analysis and troubleshooting.
- Experience collaborating with offshore development and QA teams.
- Ability to document business processes, write technical/business procedures, and produce clear reports.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to map and improve processes (including flowcharting).
- Proven experience diagnosing and resolving complex application issues in a fast-paced environment.
