Summary
The Branch Manager is responsible for the overall success of the branch by leading day-to-day operations, driving revenue growth and profitability, and developing a high-performing team. This field-based leadership role oversees service execution, sales performance, customer retention, and employee engagement to ensure exceptional experiences for both customers and employees.
The ideal candidate is someone who can run the branch like a small business—leading people, making sound business decisions, and creating a culture of accountability, service, and growth.
Responsibilities- Lead, coach, and develop a team of technicians, sales team members, and branch support staff.
- Drive branch revenue growth, profitability, and overall business performance.
- Oversee daily operations, including route execution and service delivery.
- Monitor key performance metrics and hold team members accountable to expectations and results.
- Manage hiring, onboarding, employee development, performance management, and terminations as needed.
- Partner with the sales team to drive sales activity, maintain pipeline health, and achieve branch goals.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and focus on customer retention.
- Support accounts receivable efforts and address operational challenges that impact branch performance.
- Build strong relationships with both customers and employees while fostering a positive team culture.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and implement solutions that enhance efficiency, quality, and results.
- Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience within the service industry.
- Experience managing and developing teams, including hiring, coaching, and performance management.
- Demonstrated success driving revenue growth and profitability.
- Experience overseeing daily operations and service execution.
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills with both internal and external customers.
- Ability to work in a field-based leadership role that requires regular presence with employees and customers.
- Experience in pest control, home services, or other route-based service industries.
- Experience leading sales performance and supporting business development efforts.
- Experience with branch financials, including revenue, profitability, and accounts receivable.
- Experience strengthening culture and leading established teams through change.
Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field preferred. Equivalent combinations of education, leadership experience, and demonstrated success in service operations will be considered.
LicensureA Texas Department of Agriculture Certified Applicator License in Pest and Termite categories is preferred. Candidates who are not currently licensed must be willing to obtain certification within approximately 18 months of employment.
