  • Support Industrial Engineers, Project Managers, and Design Teams by providing technical drafting and planning assistance throughout project development and execution.
  • Perform field investigations, site verification activities, and facility assessments to collect existing conditions and support accurate project documentation.
  • Generate and maintain detailed as-built drawings by incorporating field redlines, facility modifications, and construction changes into project documentation.
  • Assist in the planning and layout of manufacturing tools, production equipment, process support systems, utility infrastructure, and facility improvements.
  • Coordinate project information between engineering disciplines including mechanical, electrical, process piping, civil, structural, and process engineering teams.
  • Review engineering drawings, specifications, and facility standards to ensure project documentation is complete, accurate, and coordinated.
  • Create, maintain, and organize CAD standards, drawing templates, blocks, libraries, and project documentation systems.
  • Participate in project meetings, design reviews, facility planning discussions, and coordination meetings with clients, contractors, consultants, and internal project teams.
  • Assist with identifying design conflicts, space constraints, and constructability concerns while proposing practical solutions to support project objectives.
  • Coordinate revisions and gather information from multiple stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely updates to project documents.
  • Support quality assurance and quality control efforts by reviewing drawings for consistency, completeness, and compliance with client and KAEKO standards.
  • Assist in evaluating opportunities for process improvements, space optimization, facility efficiency, and value engineering initiatives.
  • Communicate project status, technical concerns, and documentation requirements with project leadership and team members.
  • Maintain project documentation and records in accordance with company standards and client requirements.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned to support the overall operations of the organization.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience in CAD drafting, facility planning, industrial design support, manufacturing environments, or related technical disciplines.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD required.

  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, facility layouts, specifications, and technical documentation.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to quickly learn new software platforms, technologies, and client-specific systems.
  • Basic understanding of engineering drawings, facility layouts, and construction documentation.
  • Ability to perform field walks, site verification activities, and work within active industrial or manufacturing environments.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain any client-required site access credentials.
