DH-Dental Hygienist in Rhinebeck, New York at Damian Family Care Centers Inc

Position Summary:

Performs all dental procedures, as permitted by NY State licensure, under the supervision of a licensed Dentist.

Conducts tele-dental exams under the direction of a remote dentist

• Associate’s Degree in dental hygiene; currently licensed and registered to practice as a dental hygienist in New York State.
• Minimum one-year experience as a Dental Hygienist is preferred.
• Experience in tele-dentistry is preferred
• Must be able to read and write English.
• Bi-lingual Spanish skills preferred.
• Must be computer literate, strong data entry skills with knowledge of patient electronic medical records.
• Ability to work independently and part of a team; prioritize tasks. Must have the ability to interface with participants/patients as well as all levels of staff.
• Ability to interact effectively and professionally with persons from diverse cultural, socioeconomic, education, racial and ethnic backgrounds.
• Must possess excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills; empathy and compassion to give support to patients.
