This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Developer, Admin Workflows based in the United States.

In this senior engineering role, you will design and deliver scalable backend systems that improve how administrators configure and manage enterprise environments. Accountabilities
  • Design, architect, and implement scalable backend services and workflows that support enterprise administrators across multiple channels and integrations.
  • Build and maintain reliable distributed systems, including asynchronous, event-driven, and queue-based architectures.
  • Develop high-quality software solutions using Go, with a focus on public APIs and production-grade backend services.
  • Partner closely with product, design, and data teams to define solutions, validate hypotheses, measure outcomes, and improve customer experiences.
  • Drive technical initiatives independently while influencing architecture decisions and engineering best practices across teams.
  • Balance rapid product iteration with long-term system scalability, maintainability, and security considerations.
  • Participate in code reviews by evaluating quality, performance, architecture, security, and alignment with engineering standards.
  • Mentor engineers through technical discussions, knowledge sharing, pairing sessions, and constructive feedback.
  • Apply AI-assisted development practices thoughtfully to improve productivity while maintaining quality and accountability.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of professional software development experience in a production SaaS environment.
  • Strong proficiency in Go, including experience designing and building APIs and distributed backend services.
  • Experience designing, developing, and operating large-scale asynchronous, event-driven, or queue-based systems.
  • Ability to work independently, take ownership of complex initiatives, and influence technical decisions.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with a growth mindset and commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Product-oriented approach with a focus on customer needs and delivering high-quality user experiences.
  • Experience with security-focused software development practices, threat modeling, and systems handling sensitive data is a plus.
  • Familiarity with containerized services and Kubernetes in production environments is preferred.
  • Experience with transactional email platforms, email service providers, or SMTP systems at scale is an advantage.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote-first environment with changing priorities and complex technical challenges.
