What the job is:

CPI is looking for someone who has excellent business acumen abilities, time management, planning, organization and decision-making skills. This person will also have solid written and verbal communication skills, be proficient and business oriented with various skills in accounting and Microsoft products and have an understanding of the daily grain operation functions. CPI is a safety minded company thus such policies must be followed. The Grain Merchandiser will be responsible for managing elevator inventories to maximize marketing and blending opportunities, arranging transportation to accommodate grain trading volumes, coordinate grain transfers with the company truck dispatcher, provide daily bid sheets and internet market information, hedge grain purchases and market grain as well as participate in the state elevator inspection and organize customer grain marketing meetings.

• Bachelor’s Degree or five to eight years of related experience and/or training or the equivalent combination of such is required.
